“My family and I recently made Cincinnati our new home, moving from Canton, Georgia. We love spending time outdoors and exploring the unique culinary scene this city has to offer.  While I thrive on the energy of a vibrant, bustling city at times, I also cherish the tranquility  of nature and the moments we spend unwinding in the great outdoors and all it has to offer.

My career journey has been as diverse as the places I've lived. I began my college  education at Furman University, where I played collegiate football. However, after a series of injuries, I shifted my focus and transferred to Eastern Kentucky University, earning both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice. My professional path has taken me from working with the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice to serving as a high school teacher and high school coach in Georgia. Ultimately, my passion for helping others led me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY.

As a counselor, I draw on my educational background and professional experience to  support adolescents and adults facing challenges like adjustment issues, addiction, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and anger. My role as a counselor is to provide guidance and support while you take the lead in your therapeutic journey. I see myself similar to a side view mirror, helping you recognize what might be in your view, or just outside of it. My goal is to empower you to build self-awareness and discover your own solutions, all within a safe and trusting environment. I see you as the expert of your own life, and I'm here to assist you in navigating it with confidence and resilience.”
