“Everyone has the innate desire to be heard and known. Being able to sit with individuals and allow them to be authentic and raw motivates me to continually pursue the art of counseling. I feel honored to meet individuals in the hardships and setbacks of life, providing a safe space where they can be fully themselves while processing the hurt and moving through the pain. Walking alongside individuals as they heal and become more fully alive, and empowering them to move to consistency is the best part of my job.

I’ve always enjoyed learning. I’ve received my bachelor’s degree in Bible and Theology from Malone University, a Master of Arts degree in the Old Testament from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary as well. Upon receiving my first post-graduate degree, my wife and I transitioned to work with the non-profit world internationally. This molded my passion for creating safe places for individuals to grow and heal. Upon reentry, I spent time working in the corporate management setting encountering relationship after relationship craving space for empathy, compassion, and understanding. With all these experiences, sitting with each person continues to reinforce that hope is at the center of their story.

As a therapist, I’m grateful to collaborate with my clients’ journey to healing. Utilizing my training in the community mental health setting, as well as incorporating evidence-based practices helps craft the most effective avenue for clarity. Knowing that each story is uniquely valuable, my hope is to offer space for transparency and confidence for the individual. I believe we were created to experience joy, hope, and love, along with the pain, discomfort, and hurt that so often weaves itself in. Allowing empowerment to forge outcomes is something I cherish with each person.

Outside of the therapeutic world, I treasure spending time with my wife and two daughters. I appreciate being outdoors to create space for reflection and growth. I enjoy hiking, biking, running, golfing, or playing soccer. I love exploring the city of Cincinnati and calling it home. I feel passionate about investing in this city and the people that call it home.”
