“I moved to the great city of Cincinnati after completing my master's degree. I met my husband, a Cincinnati native, in college and we married shortly after. Having lived in a number of states and cities, Cincinnati has definitely stolen my heart with its rich history, small town feel, and endless restaurants and coffee shops. I'm learning a hobby of mine is trying new things. From running a half marathon (and trust me, I am not a runner) to jumping out of airplanes and everything in between-- I love opportunities where I get to exercise courage.

I am professionally licensed here in Ohio. I obtained my training and education at Ashland Theological Seminary receiving a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I did undergraduate coursework at Ohio University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have experience working with children, individuals, groups and couples dealing with issues of grief, trauma, relationship distress, adjustment issues, anxiety and depression. I have completed the level 1 and 2 training of the Gottman method for couples therapy. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator that I use for pre-marital counseling.

My role is to assist you in navigating life but ultimately where we go is completely up to you. It is my goal to build a therapeutic relationship in which you experience the freedom to disclose and process some of the hardships in life and work together to cultivate skills to get you where you want to go.
