“My passion for mental health began when I worked alongside vulnerable children & families on the mission field throughout my adolescent and young adult years. The desire to stand with others in difficult stories and seasons of life has manifested in my personal and professional journey, culminating in a career as a Marriage & Family Therapist.
I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in how relational systems, specifically couples and family members, impact one another and interact systemically. I conduct sessions largely from an emotions-based perspective, focusing on the client’s strengths, promoting stronger bonds and healthy attachments for individuals, parents, families and couples. I strive to be collaborative, empathetic and supportive, as I help clients navigate trying times in their lives.
I have extensive training & experience working directly alongside couples & families, as well individual adults & adolescents. My areas of expertise include helping navigate life transitions, pre-marital counseling, relational distress, adoption, parenting challenges, grief, trauma (PTSD), anxiety and depression. I have also completed extensive training in TBRI (trust-based relational intervention) through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. I am a certified life coach through IPEC, specializing in life changes and transitions.
I am from Cincinnati and a proud alum of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. My faith and my family are my top priorities. Based upon client preferences, I am glad to discuss incorporating faith into sessions. I feel sincerely blessed and privileged to be invited into my client’s journeys. I value the therapeutic relationship I share with each of my clients as paramount and essential to our work together.”
