"Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for Cincinnati—and not just for the food, the views, or the Reds (we’re still allowed to be hopeful, right?). It’s the people who keep me rooted here, and they’re the reason I opened Rivertown Wellness—a place where you can find approachable, down-to-earth therapists who offer high-quality, expert care. We believe that healing happens best when you feel safe, seen, and supported—no sterile offices, no therapy buzzwords, just real work with real people.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea that there’s meaning to be found in the mess. That doesn’t mean ignoring pain—it means learning how to work with it. One of the tools I use to help clients do that is the Enneagram, a personality framework that helps you uncover the unconscious patterns keeping you stuck. I’m also trained in EMDR, which is effective in treating trauma, anxiety, OCD, and mood disorders. Whether we're using those tools or others, my job is to collaborate with you—to explore the practical strategies that work right now, while also getting to the root of what’s driving the struggle underneath. I combine evidence-based methods with a faith-informed lens, tailoring every step to fit you. My goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you uncover what’s already good and whole inside you, even when life feels like chaos.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University. I spent five years in clinical research running trials on new treatments for anxiety and mood disorders, which gave me a deep respect for both the science of the brain and the art of healing.
I specialize in working with men, navigating fatherhood, marriage, career stress, emotional health, and how to live with purpose in a world that often encourages disconnection. I also have extensive experience in areas like anger, anxiety and panic attacks, trauma, OCD, and mood disorders like Bipolar Disorder. I love helping clients get unstuck and move toward the kind of life they actually want.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me adventuring with my wife and kids or friends—hiking or camping at Red River Gorge, exploring Cincinnati’s best eats, or plotting how to get cast on Survivor (yes, seriously). Life is chaotic, complicated, and weirdly beautiful—and I’m passionate about helping people make sense of all of it."
