“Originally from Pickering, Ontario, I grew up in the Cincinnati area. Despite leaving for college in Tennessee, I was eventually drawn back to this beautiful and unique city. My wife and I love to spend time outdoors exploring with our two daughters. I’ve spent a lot of my career in public mental health, gaining invaluable experience along the way. I have also worked at two different treatment centers helping to diagnose and treat addictions and eating disorders.
I received my training and education at Cincinnati Christian University and am currently a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor in the state of Ohio. I originally went to Lee University for my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology which initially sparked my interest in pursuing a career in counseling. Because of my training and work history, I have experience working with individuals facing issues with interpersonal problems and codependency, addiction, grief, processing trauma, depression, anxiety, and anger. I am also trained to use EMDR as a means of therapy.
As a counselor, I am passionate about helping people reach a place of healing and wholeness no matter what issue they might be facing. I believe that counseling can be a great fit for everyone and I try to provide a space for my clients to feel safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to help you gain insight into your own strengths while also helping equip you with new coping strategies to help where needed. I also believe that faith and spirituality can be a powerful tool and can be integrated into this process upon request. I can’t wait to partner and come alongside you in your wellness journey.“
